Biological data for Bear Trap and other Creeks is difficult to analyze with the given data. The Izaak Walton index for Bear Trap Creek has increased (improved) over time perhaps indicating an increase in water quality. We noted high levels of nitrates that have also decreased over time. High levels of fecal coliform and phosphates have returned to normal in this stream. The water quality in this stream seems to be slowly improving.
