Funders
The Project Watershed Program is offered to schools and adult groups at no charge. This would not be possible if not for the support of a number of generous contributors. The following is a list of foundations, corporations and organizations that give generously so that we can offer this unique opportunity to better educate the people of our community on water resource issues, and to make that community a more wholesome place to live.
We give special thanks to our 2009 supporters:
National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s ArcelorMittal Great Lakes Watershed Restoration Program
Central New York Community Foundation
Honeywell Corporation
Onondaga County Legislature (from Legislator Rhinehart)
Izaak Walton League Endowment
Howard and Bess Chapman Charitable Corporation
Carrier Corporation
Madison County Planning Department
Central New York Chapter Izaak Walton League
We also thank the many generous individuals who have made contributions to Project Watershed over the years. If you would like to contribute, please click here and select Project Watershed under Donation Target.
We also thank the following donors from past years: New York State Legislature (from Senator DeFrancisco and Assemblyman Barclay); National Grid; Entergy; and the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust.
